CASSANDRA COOK
Cassandra was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned a Bachelor of Science in the Arts with an emphasis in ceramics and three-dimensional design, and a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis.
Over the course of her career, Cassandra has worked at five firms across three cities. Each experience exposed her to a different facet of architectural practice and allowed her to learn and collaborate with many talented designers and professionals.
She has found particular fulfillment in teaching and mentoring emerging architects, and has periodically taught courses at Washington University in St. Louis—an aspect of practice she hopes to continue in the future.
Service is a central part of Cassandra’s life; she is active in her church community, runs a small weekly K–12 tutoring program, and serves on the board of Sherwood Forest, a residential summer camp for underserved children in the St. Louis region. There, she is on the facilities committee and leads the Volunteer Trades Weekend. Cassandra also loves spending time with the studio dog, Odin, a 115-pound mastiff-lab rescue.
